Weekly Foleshill Police update to Our Community

Dear Residents,

We want to thank you for your continued support and engagement as we work together to keep Foleshill safe. Over recent months, we’ve been actively addressing our local policing priorities, which have been identified through feedback from local residents.

Our Current Priorities

·  Theft at Gallagher Retail Park

our first priority is tackling theft at Gallagher Retail Park. We’ve been continuing to complete regular hi visibility and also plain clothes patrols on the retail park and working in close partnership with the site security, we will continue to maintain a strong presence in the area.

·  Anti-Social Behaviour in Edgwick Park

Another priority is addressing anti-social behaviour in and around Edgwick park. We are carrying out hi visability patrols to deter nuisance behaviour and illegal activity whilst reassuring park users. Your feedback has been vital in shaping our response. 

This week the Foleshill Neighbourhood Team have been taking part in a police day of action. officers from across the force have been in Coventry working in partnership tackling the issues that matter to you, #opadvance sees partnership working with other departments completing warrants, pre planed traffic operations, immigration officers and many more. officers were working together to tackle ILLEGAL electric bikes and scooters around the city. 8 bikes were seized as a result of this operation, from various locations.

 officers have been out this week patrolling with the local street watch group in the paragon park area, this area has also been the location for a speed watch, with officers out with a speed recording device after concerns of speeding on the estate.
